Author: Helton Levy

Dr Helton Levy is a journalist and researcher based in London and Rome. He has published widely about online activism, queer media, urban media, and Brazil studies. He is the author of Globalised Queerness: Identities and Cultures in Queer Popular Culture (Bloomsbury, 2023) and The Internet, Politics, and Inequality in Contemporary Brazil: Peripheral Media" (Rowman & Littlefield, 2018). His photographs and arts writing are available on his website.
